Today when I updated a Plugin on a client’s WordPress website all was fine EXCEPT a few of the images weren’t showing any longer. Now I had this happen once before on a different website but all I had to do was re-point to the necessary image in the Media folder. This time I had to upload the image again for some reason – it wouldn’t allow me to just point to an image in the Media folder.
Even with this glitch I still recommend keeping your version of WordPress, your Theme and the Plugins you’re using updated. Just do one update a day and then review the site a bit to make sure all is well.
